hot water unit question

I've been getting a black oily substance in my downstream bucket when using my hot water PW. Is this indicative of a problem? Unit also stop producing hot water after about 3 hours of use today. It's a Waterdragon, 8GPM, 3K psi, it only has about 20 hrs on it. Thanks.

Sounds like the injector ball is stuck an is flowing water out of the injector instead of letting the water flow through like it should.The black water is normal when it sits in the coil but it should be a just a few seconds of black water an then clear right up.The burner issue could be numerous things i might start checking the fuel first then the themostate next.Good luck with the trouble shooting.

If its a Water Dragon and only has 20 hrs on it , it should still be under warranty ? Call Whoever you bought it from.
