The systems that I service are that CLEAN. I have my own corp. just opened in the last year, I do sub work from a few co. to fill the gaps. I have heard of you... Maybe we should talk? And what is that thing you are about to take a bite of in your avatar, is that coal or your diner??? I eat off my work all the time...

I would have washed it, Just to make it look a little better. You for got to put your logo on those pics. Just my 2 cents. And I would like to see who is all on this board and get to know you all a little better before I give out that info. I'm sure you under stand.

Can you post the link or pm me with the link to more exhaust boards. I know of flue steam. Not shure if this would be considered slaming. If so I apologize. But, I don't think they are up to my standards.

Racer X, If you know anything about Flue Steam, you would know that we DO NOT cold call on customers. If we bid on one of your customers it is because they called us. By them calling us, it is safe to assume one of several things, A) You are to expensive, B) Your work isn't as good as they expected, C) You left a mess in the kitchen or a whole miriad of other possibilities. Dont assume that we are trying to take away your accounts. Your claims of us low balling your price by half and doing 1/10 of the work are a load of rubbish and if you would like to retain an ounce of credibility I would suggest you edit your post and think before you type.

Matt, you are totaly correct. I sould not have posted that in that way. I do not know when the job was done last. The customer told me it was Flue Steam that was doing the service. I didn't ask how long ago. And Grant it would most likely be A) to expensive. I like to be paid well for a quality service. Once again I'm sorry. Matt, I would have to agree there might be a lateral somewhere, None that I know of though. I think most everyone would have a skeleton or two in there closet.

I was Not intending to hurt your business. I was just boasting. In the past on more than a few occasions, I have referred restaraunts to Flue Steam when they thought my bid was to high. I tell them that you can probably give them a better price. If I was out to hurt your business, I would not referr them to you. I do know of a few other companies. Maybe not as cheap in price, but I do know of others that I could have told them to call. I felt my apolagy deserved some sort of responce. I am not that bad of a guy.

Your apology is accepted. I believe that you "are not that bad of a guy". Just remember our position, We have been in this business for 35 years, and we have seen so many start-ups come in and bad mouth other credible companies in an effort to impress the customers. Less than 20% of those companies survive longer than a year and l can only name a couple that are still around. The customer is impressed for a short period of time, but we usually get the customer back because the underfunded, underexperienced newby cannot keep is promises. Competition is good for business, and I wish you luck.

I do under stand how it is. I have been cleaning exhausts for 17 years now. Mostly I subed work and tried to start my own about 10 years ago. To much work tring to sell in the day and clean at night. Went back to subbing. Took a while but things turned out ok. I never try to bad mouth to customers. Not good business. I only try to keep them aware speaking truths as I know them to be. Like letting them know you where cheaper in price, when the ocation arised or if I thought a certain company was not right for them depending on the situation. Anyway you get the point. Getting tired now, It has been a long night, time for bed. Talk to you later...

Wow.. 9 years in business & I have never said anything bad about bryan or flue steam. Not cool dude . Some advise though, remember the customer picked their service and if you bad mouth the competition you are actually saying they where the ones that made the mistake. Imagine if we found out who you where and we spread the word about you......
