Injector Not Working at the Pump

I have a GP 3-5 GPM Chemical Injector that works great after the ball valve and before my wand, or just using the ball valve and then the injector. When I attach the injector after my pump and between my pigtail to my hose reel (where I see most others put theirs)....it doesn't draw anymore. I know it works because I'm using it further down at the valve.

its a 3-5 GPM, would a 2-3 be better? its a 3.5 GPM machine but I've always used a 3-5 Injector....

Please help....tired of carrying a bucket around haha

Yes try the 2-3 injector and that should work for you....also how many feet of pressure hose are you using??? This can make a difference too
