A picture of my new truck. That glare is the California sun bounching off the turn light.

Sorry if it is a but blurry but seems one of my in laws made some changes to the digital camera while the wife was in Hawaii so she could get more pictures in the memory.

Looks nice! When are you going to put the lettering on the side?

thats the only way you'll get a glare on a ford is to take a picture of the turn light, blurry heck no they all look like that when a chevy is going around.

Isn't the glare from the nosey neighbor of yours taking a flash picture to send to the homeowners association. expect a raise in your monthly dues...if you can afford a new truck, you can pay for an extra parking space........;)

Grant I am not sure yet if I want to mess it up with lettering, might go with magnectic signs or just one on the trailer when I get around to having a tailgate made for it.

Mike, did I own a Dodge? hmm, cannot remember but I can say this Ford has won me over in the two weeks I have had it.

Fun to drive, pulls beautifully and well what can I say, I love it.

Not sure if I want to mess with it like I did that other truck, like 4 inch exhaust pipes, all sort of goodies under the hood etc.

I did install better speakers and a amplifier, wow can I hear music now:)

Thanks all for the kind words. Now tell me how to get Remy to drive it please, she only drove the other two pick ups once.

You mean it is a problem that your wife won't drive your truck??? My wife has only driven my truck that I currently have maybe twice. Now you need to go to work to pay for that thing. As for the silly grin whenever you drive it, it is a no cost option.

There is a better product out there now, a computer type thing that makes several changes rather then just the chip.

Looking into it but have a few other things to do first.

One thing I am leary of is messing with the motor, I did that with the Dodge, increased it big time and it really pulled too.

However just not going to do things fast here. Even thought of Banks system but it all cost $$$$.

Now I do admit Grant is probably jealous! poor baby

Nope, had the exhaust brake on the Dodge.

Banks is a totally different system, exhaust system and more, not even sure but I do know it is costly, very costly.

The computer thing is $300 and it allows you to reset to stock before taking it into the dealer for warranty work.

Has a memory and all, it ask questions and you answer, like tire size, advance or retard tranny shifting, and more.

However I am not at this time willing to mess with this truck, it is just to new.

Well other then cosmetic things.

Oh, Come on Jon, You need to BOMB that bad boy. I can see it now, 500 HP and 800 Ft.Lbs of torque. Come on Jon, just do it. Heavens knows I haven't.
The computer thingy is made by Hyper tech.

Jon,
I must congratulate you on your new PSDlooks great. Have a 2000 CC 4x4 myself and really enjoy it.
I am sure you will really research any mods you are considering to make.
Just chipping can elevate engine, transmission, and exhaust temps. This will usually lowwer your towing capacity also. You get more power but the mpg generaly suffers.
Have not done any mods to mine yet but have researched many.
One quick an easy mod that I will be doing is to add a K&N air filter.
Did you know that the accelerator peddle does not attach to anything on the engine mechanicly. It is all electronic. Same with the tranny if its an auto. Once you take it out of park its electronic!

Not trying to sound like a no it all just trying to help a little.I have picked up a lot of good info at www.ford-diesel.com

Enjoy!
