Magic Marker

Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to remove magic marker from plastic playground equipment? I've tried goofoff and mineral spirits to no avail.

Try W-D 40.

I've heard that Easy Off oven cleaner will remove paints from painted surfaces, without damaging the underlying surface. You could try that on magic marker.

Carburetor CLeaer. We use it all the time. You will need to watch the plastic that it does not melt though. Another one is Xenit from Stoner Chemicals. Get the citrus version, very good stuff, and I think that you can get it at Pep Boys. It comes in an orange can.

What kind of equipment? I work in a school and use Alcohol on a regular basis. It works on the plastic slides like a charm. For the metal areas that are painted with a textured surface, we use Grafitti wipes and a grout brush. No harm to equipment.
