Photoshop and Ulead Gif animator. this gif has 31 frames, each one is 640x480 at 72 DPI. The result is 4.20 mb which is the inconvenient part of the GIF animation. If it was flash it would be much less, but it would require a plug-in to play it.

Lol.. It sounds more difficult than it actually is. Download the software trial version and I can walk you through. The idea is to keep the main frames as small size as possible, but still keep a decent quality.

I like the gif animation, that is old but still works good. I heard it is good for website as the smart phone can run it. The new ones I hear won't be able to run flash.
