Need A Favor

I finally figured out how to reformat our youtube video, so it's now fully viewable. I had several comments from my fellow Contractors but lost them when I deleted the old video.

I would very much appreciate it if you would stop by the updated video and post a comment. If you have a youtube video, post the link in this thread and I will return the favor.

Thanks For Your Help!!!

Nice professional video. What kind of camera are you using for the video? Also, any reason why your worker was not soaping low to high, then rinsing high to low? Is this something you did only for the video, or are you not concerned with streaking?

Here is a video I made using my cell phone while pushing a surface scrubber. It is not the best quality and I hope to add more videos in the future. I have been looking at getting a camera that I can mount on my head for something like this.

Keenan, bottom to top washing is usually for painted houses not vinyl. Vinyl doesn't streak like Paint.....No I'm not concerned streaking and don't care if we do a good job or not. I haven't been doing this long and have no idea what the heck I'm doing. I only wash to support my Coca-Cola habit and 23 children......but thanks For Asking.

Hey Guy, Keenan didn't mean any disrespect. He's still learning the ropes a little bit. He's just trying to compare the 2 is all.

Hey Keenan, we always soap from the top down as the top is always the dirtiest part. I've seen vinyl streak before from doing that but after dwell time it's all clean. That's all that matters.

Guy, I meant no offense and I apologize if I came across looking that I was attacking your method. That was not my intent. I know you have been in business for awhile and know what you are doing. I only asked because everything I have read, seen, or been told is to soap low to high and rinse in reverse. I was just asking to see if there was a specific reason why what I had learned might not necessarily be truly needed.

Hope this clears up everything

I know, should of put an Lol in there somewhere........LOL!!!

Vinyl can streak if its oxidized or if the vinyl is really hot like in the summer.

Thanks for coming to my corner. I always thought that soaping low to high on vinyl seemed like it was not needed but it makes sense being true for painted surfaces. Either way, it works for me and I will probably stick to it.

When you have a high volume machine AND you can soap quickly, you can get away with soaping high on any surface. I always teach soap low to high because it's the safest method for any surface. Especially for new guys.

Sure thing Guy.

No problem. Everyone has to do whatever works best for them.
