need little help pricing jobs

I have realy stupid question to ask every one in my location there is alot mobile homes I went around to them they told me that highs they ever payed for house wash was $65. I kind find that low for cost labor and supplies. Am I wrong that is low or is that going price I cannot go charging them that

The price I do manufactured homes for really depends on how many in the same area I am doing that day.
If I can setup 8 or so in the same day, that usually isn't more then 2-3 hours of work and generally get about $70 each for them.

Pricing is like playing football!
Everyone like to throw a 80 yard pass for a touchdown.
However, defenses will not allow it, so you take what is there.
When playing football and your opponents defense has 5 deep safety's, you RUN the ball right down their throats.
IF they stack the line, you throw deep.

In other words, you must adjust your prices to your local competition.
Sure, we would all like 200 bucks to clean a single wide, but your local competition will not allow it.

So, adjust your prices.

BTw, they do em for 29.95 in Tampa all day long!

wow Scott that is a lot more than folks do them for here but in all honesty we dont have that many here , but where we started at in Selma they are covered in them

It is high, but it eliminates they whiner & beggars that all talk about how broke they are.In the mean time they are driving new F250 4x4's with lift kits and huge tires.People like that are the reason my main focus now is on commercial work.Residential has been slow here for sometime and instead of wasting good money after bad chasing it I would rather use it as fill in work.

Chris understand what your saying I will try to meet the price I know that I will not do the for as low $20 that does not pay for my gass in my truck. I donnot see how anyone can make profit charging $20-30 they would have to do 100 mobile homes any profit. I am going to keep pushing my way through and I am not going undermind my work bring few dollars.
