New exposed aggregate problem

I wanted to tell this homeowner to get the concrete contractor to come back. They really didn't prepare this completely right in my opinion.

They want it fixed right away. Looks like the contractor didn't rinse good. I'm not sure whether to just pressure wash a little more with a wand or put some larger tips on the surface cleaner or use an acid wash. ????

How old is the concrete? I've had luck knocking off the missed spots that they left behind the next day. Acid may be the best option. Either way, DEFINITELY the contractors fault. All they do on exposed is pressure wash the top cream off after it sets up a bit. I've seen this quite a bit and it always puzzles me why they don't just do it right.

Well we down streamed a dilute muratic solution ( 1 gallon in 3 gallons water then downstreamed) ran the surface cleaner over it and rinsed well and it looked great. Edit...well it looked a lot better...still I think the concrete contractor did a crappy job doing the finish on this. There were places that just still had too much cream left behind.

so the Concrete contractor got paid for a shitty job and you ran a risk of cocking it up and getting you ass in a sling. Mmmmmmm Me thinks I would have sent the customer back to the concrete contractor to finish the job properly. Where would you have been if it didn't clean up ok. In a world of hurt INMHO.
