Welcome and start reading, there are lots of ways. Let the fella's here get comfortable with you. I'm sure someone will help more extensive.

Welcome to PWI! Tell us a little bit about your company. What do wash? What kind of equipment? What experience? As you can see every time you drive down the street, there's a whole lot of dirt around here! If you can share a little bit, I'll share some too. I always say that I can't wash 'em all ans I'd rather have educated competition.

A little about me: 10 years, 99% residential, though with 8gpm and heat, there isn't too much I can't wash.

Welcome to the board Dewitt! Read any and all that Ron Musgraves, Tony Shelton, Russ Spence, Scott Stone post. They are a buch of great guys and very knowledgeable in the areas they specialize in.

Little about me. Consider myself as the car lot "KING" Lol just kidding, but we do have 30 car lots we handle on a weekly basis. Lots and lots of cars! If this is an avenue you wish to consider I will be more then happy to let you pick my brain anytime.

Again glad to have ya

Welcome Dewitt! Like they all said, there's alot of great info on this site. You can sit and learn for weeks.

Commercial: Offer free demos.

Residential: I don't do too much, but I have offered a free driveway cleaning in a track home community here and there, as long as they agree to let me put a yard sign for a few days. It has landed me other driveway cleanings just by neighbors seeing me working, and how much the clean driveway stands out.

Hey, any chance your company name will be "I Dewitt Right Pressure Washing"??? Lol, just kidding. Glad to have you here. Good luck!

Hey Dewitt,

I think Mike is right about the name, it would say it all. At least use it for a catch slogan in your advertising. Many times a "clever" name sets you apart and catches the customers eye.

I get tons of feedback on my company name, "Let Us Spray Power Washing". People know what service I offer and they know they are getting a Christian owned and operated business which usually means they're likely to trust me.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of jack-legs out there who advertise they are Christian, but do not operate as they advertise. It not only gives Christians a bad name, but the entire power washing community of hard working, reputable, honest contractors - Christian or otherwise.

Good luck and ask lots of questions here to learn more and more. Everyone is willing to help!!

thanks everybody for the warm greeting. I am here to learn and be as successful as you guys are. I like the the catchy slogan i will try to use it in some way shape or form. a lil about my comapny, well i'm just starting out and i one have one client a car lot. i think i want to stay on the commercial side but i'm open to suggestions. i only have a 6.5.

Hey dewitt,
John Orr is your best option for info. I would say understanding your monthly goals and quarterly goals is a great way to expand your business. Determine what you want to make, how much your business wants to make, and then decide how you're going to get there. Seems basic, but taking the time to sit down and think really helps. Use these BBS as a sound board (as well as other business people you respect) to determine if your marketing ideas will work. Implement, and if it works great, if not, replace with a new stategy.
Also, there is a major cleaning expo coming up in FLA., I believe that would be the best investment for your business this year.
Best regards, call me anytime

Hey everbody I am a new member just want to say hello. Thanks Ron.
Welcome man! You should put your name in your signature so we know what to call you.

You're kinda in my old stomping grounds. I lived in Newport Beach for a while and was the security guard for the Imperial Bank tower at South Coast Plaza.
