c-tec now has about 5 brand name wash units and the pump they use the most now is a LEGACY who makes it and how do you think/know how they will do? 5 year warrentee sounds good
where can i buy just a pump? cant seem to able to find them for sale. Are they mfg. just for c-tec?
where are they mfg.?
why am i the only one bringing this up am i late to the game?

Never heard of Legacy and I wonder if they honor that warranty if you're upstreaming acid through that pump?

the legacy/GLENN OR ANYONE SELLING TUFFS

is the pump that is going to be standard on the TUFF SKIDS. Unless you order it differantly I dont know how much $ it will be to get a diffrent pump.
I went to c-tec's site and it looks like a good pump i just know who makes it.
if c-tec is going to use it, it must be good.
right? Will all the parts places sell the rebuilds? or will you have to use c-tec just for parts? 17 people looked at this and no one knows?
GLENN you should KNOW this stuff

thanks yes ive seen this and on other sites it is a 7 year warrentee but i need the answears to the posted questions
i dont want a unit thats like a karcher that only makes things on there units that kahrcher sells
then your at there mercy.

Legacy pumps are made in Italy by "Bertolini Pumps"
(Italy is the birthplace of most quality pumps)
www.bertolinipumps.com

Bertolini pumps have also been sold under the "Admiral Pump" label.

I am told that the Legacy series is a new series of the Bertolini pump.

Smart move by C-Tech if you can be the only US importer of the pump
you can profit on every replacement part, Hotsy did this with the Shark
pumps. Yes C-Tech will probably profit from every spare / replacement
part sold for these pumps, but I believe they will be available to most
p/w distributors.

We are a Distributor for Tuff products,
( as well as Alkota, All American, Electro-Magic, Epps, and our own line)
so the parts are available to us.

Is the Legacy better than the others? I do not think so,
is the Legacy an inferior pump? No! I do not think so! Bertolini Pumps
are good pumps, just not as well known as some, for the p/w distributor
it represents one more brand of parts to stock.

I suspect the Legacy pumps will do fine. </>

I have tried to give just the facts</> on the Legacy pump.

If you would like to order a Tuff unit with a
General pump we can do that for you.

Hope this helps!

thanks MARK i talked to the LANDA dealer and his opinion was that it was a step up from GP but not by much
he told me that the higher temp seals in a pump were only slightly more $$
if this is the case why dont they just install them from the get go?
