Picked Up Two stores today

I picked up two stores today from a large chain around here, they have 9 stores in this area, but I think they want to try me out on two of them and see how we do. We will be Washing and Sweeping at them. I know it's not a large pick up like Russ got today, but it's money in the bank anyways and a little here and a little there add up.:D

I hope we can get the rest of them as they are VERY DIRTY, both the store fronts and parking lots, so this is a good sign for me. I have been working on getting in this chain now for 8 months finally got to the right person and BAM he said yes. COLD CALLING WORKS :) But I still hate doing it.

Don't sell yourself short. Any new business is good business. Sometimes the small ones can lead to BIG ones.
 
Well I know they will like the work we do and there are 7 more stores in my area and the service they are getting now is real crap and I mean Bad. They told me the one store is getting washed two times a month and it looks like it has not been cleaned in 5 or 6 months so I know they will like what I do for them. And the Sweeping keeps me going in the winter when it is below Freezing here.

But it all adds up and this will help pay the bills.

You get work at the casinos? Is there a 'strip' in Reno?
 
Nah I have been staying away from the Casino's for the most part, real slow
in paying and your working around a 24/7 environment. We do have a small strip and I say small compared to Vegas.

There are some small casino's that I might try to get work from, but for the most part been staying with shopping centers and small stores with no one in them a night ;)
