Here ya go Ron here are some pics of some wood restoration you asked for. The deck was never treated and was cleaned with bleach/soap and brightened. It was stained with Baker's Gray Away Super Cedar Custom Blend.

What is the mix with the blends you are doing? They all look pretty similar super cedar blend and cedar blend is that different?

It's all the same I noticed the different names when i posted them. These pics are from a while back not sure what I was thinking then. I mix 1/2 Super Cedar and 1/2 Cedar dark. The Super Cedar has more of a reddish tint and can look kinda orange on PT pine decking. So by adding some brown "Cedar Dark" to the mix helps cut out any orange look. I do the same with Gold blend it's 1/2 n 1/2 SCD also. My Special Blend is 2 gal Super Redwood and 3 SCD cause to much Redwood the color looks too maroon on cedar.

Ok cool, they looked a lot like SCG to me but on second look I can see the slight reddish hint in there from the super cedar.

The special blend that David sells I think is half SCD and half red (2.5 and 2.5 gallons), are you noticing much difference by cutting it down to only 2 gals redwood?

Great work and great pictures Shane, as always.

You really see the difference when you re stain a fence with the half n half Special Blend it looks to Aggie maroon for my taste.

The first pic was when i was using 1/2 n 1/2 Sp Blend
