Remove Paint covered parking?

I have covered parking, the corrugated metal type, with peeling paint under the canopy. I have done this work before and it didn't go well - loose paint flew off immediately, then more paint was loosened, then it got tedious and a lot of paint wouldn't budge in the end, paint and water raining down the whole time.

Will 5000 + psi take paint off metal?

Would a wet sand blaster be effective on this large scale?

Another technique?

I've removed exterior floor paints with a paint stripper, then pw it off with hot water. I wonder if you could spray it on with an airless paint sprayer, then after it does it's work, pw it off, standing back at a 45 degree angle so it doesn't rain down on you.

Either way it's a wet, dirty job.

We are removing about 7 layers of paint from an old brick bldg right now, he wants all the paint removed. We have one guy rolling on stripper and then blowing it off. Very labour intensive, and they are getting stripper all over themselves. We'll be on the job for 3 solid days and that is on for 2000 sq ft.

If anyone knows of a better way..
