Removing flaking epoxy from concrete

What's the best way to quickly remove the loose epoxy on a shop floor? I don't need to grind the solid stuff down to bare concrete but just the loose flaky stuff. I'm looking for something more thorough than hand scraping and power washing, and right now my best idea is to rent a diamond grinder from HD. There is about 2000ft2 that needs attention.

For what your describing- yes your gonna have to grind it

I would make sure you have a vacuum attachment could get pretty dusty
