Scheduled for the rest of my life………………….

I was ask the question awhile back and I often see these thread what are you doing this winter? I have some down time and lost a few jobs.

I’m either the luckiest man on the planet or the dumbest man.

I’m busy all the time and always have enough work. My schedule should feed me for the rest of my life.

I started think that many people here say Ron what if you loose a job? So what, I’ll find another. I don’t loose jobs but if I did I would replace it.

This month alone I’m not proud of this but we for the first time in existence turn jobs away. Jobs that in the past we have tried to accommodate even though we hated doing them.

I told a gas station owner that calls us ever now and then please find some else to clean those nasty station up. She said Ron we want you too. I frankly told her we are just too busy and we don’t really have the time to mess with a once a year thing. I explained we are interested in maintenance work. A regular pay check and we truly believe you shouldn’t abuse your station the way you do. I told here in the long run with your porter, chemical and damage you’re costing yourself more money than you know.

She was on the phone so I couldn’t see her face. I got a long pause and she said I appreciate the honest call. I really glad your being fair by calling me and telling me you’re just to busy to do my stores. She said come by on Monday and lets talk about the major cost to get me back in shape and what my annual budget going to be for 2006.

She said I realize what your saying, we get people that don’t want to repair there cars properly and when they really break down we try explaining that it would not have cost as much if they had done a little maintenance.

I saw her today and it looks good, like maybe she gets it. She spending more money and the place looks bad.

When someone calls me from now on, I busy for life.
