Service CEO??

Does anyone use Service CEO? I went through the live demo today with a sales rep. I am thinking about giving it a shot. Was wondering if anyone has actually used it on this board? Please let me know your experiences if you have.

Thanks

Ty, If you want I can show you how QB can do what you have or Excel together. mapping also....for dummies

Do you have your own server? PC with a network

Let me know, I do not need your customer info to show you. Its really easy...

Yes Service CEO is expensive and they are good but the people supporting suck

Excel sheets can take any insert, address contract ...ANYTHING

Build the sheet with the routes inbedded into the sheet.

I'll see if i can find you one thats a template, not sending everyone here that Sheet.

You can make your own very easily, find a office person that works with Microsoft products. she can do it in about five miuntes.

This is one that Daryl actually talked about in the KY roundtable, I was already doing it. if Faciltek uses it ..WELL its going to handle a few accounts most have here.

My only twist is that its secure on my server. The info accessed in the spread sheet needs to be on the same Hard drive for the computer to find it and route.

I have been using service ceo for about 8 years now. I love it and hate it at the same time.. Lots of good things about it, lots of horrible things about it. If you run a smaller size company 3 crews or less I would use the customer factor. Its pretty cool..

Service CEO severs crashed this past summer and nobody could access any of there data for a few days.. Kind of a nightmare for users impacted.. (if you could imagine)

So you use their server? I guess I didn't quite understand that. Can you back up your files on your own PC?

Thanks for your input Chris.

Ron, I will take u up on the lessons sometime.

They have 2 versions.. We use the "client version" and run it on our own server in our offices. The other one they offer is the "cloud" version where they store all your data.

The cloud version is the one that went down.. You can take down a back up but it will be in a format thats completely unusable with out access to the program.

It would be like being stuck on an island with all your favorite DVDs but no DVD player..

That's why I can't go cloud. Mostly security reasons. In the news last week people from sprint selling info. No thanks , I don't trust any of them.

If this is residential I See the need.

Chris I mentioned to thad Daryl did a presentation on using office with dbase, you might be to young to remember dbase . Lol great talk he did about a national chain using software everyone has.
