sticky balls

I have been having a problem with the ceramic balls in one of my injectors keeps sticking shut. I tried oil and that didn't work very long. It will work for about a minute then stops working. It's only on my acid side the soap injector has been working perfect for about 4 months a record for me. Any ideas?

It might be the o-ring making the ball stick.

I would change them both out along with the spring.

The rebuild kits for most injectors are like $6.00 to $8.00 each and they have the ball, spring and o-ring.

Whats this BB coming to? First Ron is trying Cox and now you have sticky balls. :shakehead:

Oh yea,,, and what Chris said. I've had to change mine out plenty of times for the same reason.

try wd40 I always keep a bottle in my trailer

Replaced the O ring today. Works great. I am going to put it on a scedual. Once a week I will replace the O ring in all my injectors.

Seeee, your balls are just fine. wait,,,That sounded kinda DUDISH! :smash:

When I change out the Spring, O-Ring and the Ball, most of the time the ball is still in good shape but I can't tell if the spring is still ok but the
O-Ring looks to be the bad part.

I need to order some more rebuild kits.

I went to harbor frieght and purchased a small box of O rings. I figure on replacing the ball and spring every 6 months and the O ring once a week. This will save me a lot of money on replacing the whole injector every few months.

I use them too but I don't get but a month or two out of the modifieds running 12.5 through it

What brand does bob use? They might be the same brand I use.
