Surface Cleaner

I have a surface cleaner that stripes the concrete bad. You can see the rings that it leaves. This is NOT caused by standing still. They are not those types of rings. I have tried to walk slower and that does not work. Could it possibly be the tips or do I just need a new scrubber? I would like to keep the one I have and just repair it if possible due to the cost of the machines. Any help is greatly appreciated. If I just need to change the tips, what kind of tips do I get? Are they just the basic tips or are they made specifically for scrubbers?

Hello Jonathan,

Is your pump putting out enough volume and pressure? We use regular tips in our surface cleaners 15 or 25 degree.

The surface cleaner in the picture uses two 2505 tips. We run 180 to 200 degrees.

The pump is fine. In fact the pw puts out more psi and gpm than the scrubber calls for. I did not realize this until after I bought it. That did not cause a problem that I know of. I have been using the scrubber for over a year now and this just started happening.

Could be your swivel is failing and not spinning at the speed it used to. Does the bar spin easily by hand?

Yes it does, in fact I just had that replaced a few months back. I only use my scrubber one day per month righ now so it is still practically new.
