Wet foot has asked me about surface cleaners... I thought that others may want to know as well.....


We have experienced no problems with the exception of the shaft turning rainbow colors and breaking due to us running them at Dry Steam. AMC is making us a special shaft to handle the 310 degree mark. Other than that NEW issue, we've had good performance from them. We have ran a Steel eagle against the turbo twister to compare the results. In this " Test" we've noticed better results in both performance, and speed from the Turbo Twister.

My guys love both types, but for different situations of cleaning.

If it's Garage Cleaning, then we use turbo twisters. If the cleaning consist of sidewalks, small area's or soft cement, we use the less aggressive more maneuverable Steel Eagle instead of the Turbo Twister.

There is allot of washers that prefer one surface cleaner over another. When looking at some of the responses, look at the repliers type of cleaning.

For example, if I was doing small store fronts, sidewalks, a turbo twister would not be my first choice. The Turbo Twister is large and heavy. It is designed, in my opinion, for large open areas. It could be to aggressive on the cement of a store front (which is usually 2500 to 3000 psi). I would recommend 25 degree nozzles or higher on the Turbo Twister. However, if you were doing garages, I would not choose a Steel Eagle as my first choice.

So for Garage Cleaning / or a long stretch of concrete, I would recommend a Turbo Twister and only use the Steel Eagle as a back up. For doing a Target Store Front, for example, .... then Steel Eagle, or something similar, would be my first choice.

Below are two examples of the surface cleaners. "Steel Eagle" cleaning in tight confined spaces, while the "Turbo Twister" is going down a long stretch of concrete.

You are saying " Street " Eagle, do you mean " Steel " Eagle? or is there such a brand as Street Eagle ? If so, where do you get them, e-addy ?
