The Homemade Vent Hoods

Hey it's me again.. In Mississippi we have these guys that build homemade vent hoods.. Just Cleaned on last night .. Since the hood are not built right and the goop seems to settle in every crack , crevice, and corner It takes a long time to clean..

There is a couple of company's in Mississippi that still build vent hoods and get away with it .. Hell there are some company's that build Galvanizied vent hoods and still get away with it. The Store I Cleaned Last Night

Galvanized Hood , Fire System out of date and condemed, 2 Missing hood filters , Vent Hood was filthy, Because the customer only let's me clean it every 6 months..
Now get this ...right across the street is the Flowood Fire Dept..

Damn people building crappy vent hoods .... What about UL and ULC and NFPA

I can do one better than that, a year old system, Down draft fans with the roofing applied over the base of the fan, I could unbolt and remove the center of the fan, (motor and fan blades) gaining access to the fan but the wiring won't allow that, grease already coating the roof, two fifteen foot laterals with no access, 15 mesh filters. (MESH FILTERS! I didn't know they still sold them) now get this. It's IN a fire department

Funny thing is I pointed this stuff out and they bought new filters, the roofer and electrician will be in as soon as the weather allows, ( got another 8 inches os snow tonight) and we will install access panels when we clean it.
