What is the weirdest thing you all have found growing on a roof. I found this little thing growing on a roof try to guess what it is.

I'm with Nick on that one...Looky like a shroon to me too! I found an almost full lawn on top of a commercial bldg before. Pm said he has to keep weed eating it to keep it down. I wish I had taken pics!

Guess it was "skunk"

Recently found a dead baby bird in the gutter under mud and leaves.
I couldn't get rid of the smell.

I have found ant hills under the roof shingles, moss growing into and between shingles and grass growing between shingles.

It is strange that people don't look up at their roofs more often but I guess that if it is not leaking then why look up?

Go on a roof with a Chinese Restaurant and you will see what died in the goo. Commercial Buildings are the best with the built up gravel roofs. All kinds of crap grows up there, trees, weeds, bushes, grass, cactus. Ive found bottles, cans, buckets, shoes, clothing, hats, ladies purse, tools, phones, mp3 players, CD's, cassette tapes, car radios, mops, brooms. If you can throw it on a roof and it sticks, I have probably found it. It seems like every trade that goes on a roof will leave something behind.

When i was in high school i worked for a guy that worked on commercial buildings i went to clean bird crap off the top of a building i would carry five gallon buckets of bird crap at a time. My arms were getting big lol.

A friend of mine has a roofing company in San Pedro California. He has about 3 5galbuckets full of bullets they found on top of roofs they were working on.
