Here's a flashlight I saw at the show last week. It is light as a feather.

90 second charge time results in 90 minutes at full power.

I can't wait to get these in headlights!

That's awesome. I wonder how long it will be until we see ultracapacitor batteries?

Being able to charge a flashlight like that is nice, but imagine being able to recharge your laptop, cellphone and power tools that fast..

I always wondered why they could not develop a system that
starts with a fully charged bank of batteries that is constantly
recharged by a powerful alternator as the car runs and always stays charged
while driving and could be just topped off with a conventional plug in type charger when stopped.I'm sure they could do lots of things , I wonder how many incredible ideas are bought up by the oil companies and never heard from again.

The battery companies are gonna be pissed! BTW its only 15 min at full power with a 90 second charge, but still really good.

15 minutes is not that great.

I still like my shaky-flashlight....1 min of shaking gets you 5 mins of light...and an arm workout!!! lol

and it does say 90 mins of use per 90 second charge: "And if that isn’t impressive enough, it can go from being dead to fully charged in 90 seconds. The flashlight provides 90 minutes of light per charge."
