What About This Surface Cleaner?

Your price is $1.43 less than MSRP? can they give you a little better deal?

Higher power gives free shipping on orders over $75.00 Makes the price much better.

Yeah...free shipping counts for a lot, especially nowadays. And a 24" cleaner is about the right size for my machine and for me. Maybe later on I will get a big guy. But price and feasibility count for a lot.

Damn Ron I was hoping that was a new video of something crazy you just purchased.

I'd like to see how you commercial flat work guys do simple concrete cleaning from start to finish. Starting with dry concrete, chemicals, dwell time, surface cleaner and rinse. Including gum removal. I also like the idea of seeing the wrong ways too. I can read and read old posts, which I have, but it's kinda like reading about riding a bicycle. Eventually you need the visual part. Great idea and probably a rare opportunity.

Steel Eagle is a great product but for that size machine, I would probably tell you to get the Whisper Wash Classic. What are the specs on your machine? 4gpm @4000psi? Most people I know with less than 5.5gpm are very happy with the Classic.

The Classic might be a little more expensive than that Steel Eagle but with less than 5.5gpm, you will be happier with the classic, it is 19" and I use that on many of my accounts with my 5.6gpm 3000psi machine.

I have two of these surface cleaners. I like them a lot. Disadvantages, the swivel is not mosmatics best swivel, and the deck gets discolored with use. (I am stretching to find problems with them) Advantages, I like how they have the gun, I like the large wheels in the back, and they are fairly light. I have had both of them for about 2 years, and have had to replace one swivel. I bought the better mosmatic, and did little adapting of the surface cleaner, and it is even better. I highly recommend it, especially for the price. For what it is worth, I tossed two big guys because they were not as well put together as this one is.

I agree with Russ on this one. I have had my big guy for 4 years now and still a kickin. I loved it so much I bought its bigger brother the 36" maxima.

9.3 gpm Hot water 30 hp kohler 8.5 gpm 23 hp vanguard soon to be upgraded to 30 hp kohler.

I have a Steel Eagle 24" that I bought from Steve Rowlett right when I first got started. I drove it with a 4GPM hot machine, but work was pretty slow.

I thought I had killed it this winter when power went out and my shop froze, but I recently took it apart and replaced hoses/tips/HP filter and it returned to service.

Mine came with the Deublin swivel, which I thoiught bought it in the freeze, but it seems fine now.

I like the big wheels, and on my large machine (8 GPM) it covers ground quick!

My machine is a 5.5 gpm, 3500 psi. I looked at the smaller WW classic, and a few other 18" and 20" cleaners....but I am always reading that guys with them are looking to go bigger. I thought this might be a good first surface cleaner for me, not too big, and not too small...and my machine can run it. The big wheels and the gun placement appeal to me also, and of course the price. Glad to hear that some guys use these and they are dependable. Thanks for helping me make up my mind.

Only thing I dont like about using the surface cleaners with the big rubber wheels on them is that there is no side to side motion.. When I built my surface cleaner I put swivel casters all the way around it so it would move around easier.. Now as for my alladin I use it on big jobs... Is your machine hot water skid or cold water.. I must tell you I have a 3000 @4 whitco machine and it does fine on sidewalks using hot water and my 24 inch homemade surface cleaner , but I would never try to clean a whole prking lot with it ..I have been thinking when I finally get my new machine of running a T setup and getting another hotwater 3000 @4 whitco .. put 2 machines together where I can run 3000@ 8 gpm.. Or disconect one for hood cleanings.. I would also look at Northern tools stainless steel model I think it is about 600.00...
