HOUSTON – Authorities were investigating after a Mexican restaurant caught fire in southeast Houston on Friday.
Firefighters said they responded to a fire at the El Charro Taquerias near Harrisburg and Altic around 9:15 p.m. and found flames shooting from the kitchen.
They made a fast attack and got the fire out.
HFD said the fire started around a cooker in the kitchen, but were unable to determine the exact cause. That was under investigation by authorities.
All employees and customers got out safely.
