<!-- message -->In addition to the three advertised prize give-aways (two cold water pressure washers and a $500.00 Chemical Shopping Spree) Shelley & I will be giving away a special Grand Prize worth thousands to the person with the special Raffle Ticket on Saturday at the UAMCC Convention in Orlando. All I can tell you is that it comes on a 48" x 51" pallet and the box on the pallet is about 5' feet high. The tickets are $10.00 each and can be purchased from Mike at 1-800-346-4876 or at the event. You don't have to be present to win. The total value of the give-ways this week end is in the thousands.

Also, all non-winners are not out of the running to win something. We will be keeping all the tickets and adding to then all through 2010 and in December of next year we will be having a Special Drawing and the winner will find an Allison Iron Horse under the tree at Christmas. - John & Shelley

It certainly was but wait it gets better.

Tim Garrettson and his partner Bill McEssy of My Pressure Cleaner Inc. located in Stuart Florida have said that they are planning on matching the contribution. That is just amazing!:dance::dance:

That is awesome, thats what I call "stepping up to the plate",

How many dogs can 2100 lbs of food feed and for how long, on average?

I was so releaved when they lifted that box. All morning Saturday I was feeling sorry that I did not have enough money to buy a ticket for the surprise box, that you put on a pallet, in a 5 foot high box, and said that it was 1000 pounds. I felt sorry for all the guys that bought more than ten $10 tickets. I just must not be a dog lover. Tricking a lot of good trusting people to do something good is still NOT right.

Brian, I didnt know it was dog food. I have 13 dogs so John would have been shocked when I asked for free shipping..:moil::moil::moil:

I kinda agree it was a crazy, I think it would have went better just raffling a Skid????

Personally dont think it was deceiving anyone. It may have been a hell of a surprise for some, but it said "mystery box".

I think we were all expecting something related to pressure washing, probably because of its size and the fact that envirospec manufactures skids and in the past few events skids and units were raffled away by envirospec and others , probably this is why it is what we expected/imagined/wished , but it said "mystery box" not "mystery skid box".

My .02

These are my opinions and not intended in attack or support of anyone.

Thank You

A gift like this will do a lot of good for this contractor, the publicity he will receive will go a long way in his community. The value in advertizing dollars alone will far exceed the value of any skid.

Not every thing we do as contractors and suppliers needs to be about "whats in it for me". In the end we are all members of a community and society that is the great United States of America. We all have a duty and obligating to help those in need whether it is our brother, neighbor, or and animal. And that what this raffle is about.

Read a bit closer you will see this... Here is what your ticket entered you for.

People were told up front that it is a mystery box and that 100% of their ticket was going to the Suzie's animal charity. This was intended as a charity drive and yes the food does include free shipping.

It is a real shame that when you try to do something good you are still criticized in a negative way for it.
