Just wanted to share my review of using the Green Wash product that Delux Cleaning Supply put's out.
Last week, for comparitive purposes, we did 3 roof cleaning jobs and house washes using the Green Wash and 2 roof cleaning jobs using Amonyx Lo (liquid Detergent Additive) which is the product I normally use as an additive, and The Mask (Green Apple) which is what I normally use to mask the bleach scent.
Here is what I found:
Green Wash caused my roof mix to stick to the roof much better and caused way less run off (my ground man said he used way less water keeping the plants wet) and I also noticed that the Green Wash seemed to help clean much faster and better. The actual foaming or suds seems to be about the same but for some reasont he Green Wash does not run nearly as much. There is some run off but nearly as much.
For house washing I found that the Green Wash works just as good and maybe a little better as the Amonyx for exterior walls, (brick, vinly siding, and hardi plank) and I was also impressed with how it kept the windows from spotting or streaking just as the amonyx does.
I ususally mix a fifty gallon roof mix, (60% of which is water) and have to add 1/2 gallon (64 ounces) of Amonyx and about a 1/2 quart (16 ounces) of Mask. For a fifty gallon roof mix with Green Wash all I had to add was about 16-18 ounces total.
After running the numbers I am finding that I am saving about 60% by using the Green Wash over the other two products I have been using and I am now playing with my percentages of water to main ingredient and may be able to cut it even more.
In comparing the cost (includng shipping) of the two products versus the one product, Green Wash, and also comparing how well the Green Wash works versus the other two products, I will be switching to the Green Wash and using it only from here on out, as long as it continues to perform as it did last week.
I am extremely pleased with the Green Wash product and highly recommend it.
