Stand Back, Anthony has the Foamer

HotShot_Anthony

Greaser of the Year
Well, today/tonight was the maiden voyage of HotShot Hood and Duct Services blasting away with a foam machine. All I can say is (like Jim Carrey in Dumb & Dumber)"I like it a lot". It took a little while to get the ratio how I wanted it, but in the end---I was blowin some mad foam!!

Like Matt said on another thread, it's not the magic pill, but it will definitely get you lazy. Bofe exhaust systems that I cleaned I had done before and they turned out ok, but this time they were just so much cleaner. I take a lot of pride in my work and for over 2 years now, I've thought that I couldn't be outdone as far as quality....I think that I was wrong. (as long as I'm still doing the work :p) The foam just seemed to get in the crevises and nooks and crannys better.

Overall, once I get the system down, I think that it will make the job faster, but not by a whole lot. It took me longer on these two hoods, but I'm still trying to figure out my system.

Oh yeah, and the filters turned out spectacular.....and I noticed that I don't have to use near the water that I was using before.....Hope this helps anyone thinking of getting into some foaming action.

One thing I'm really not use to doing.....waiting!!!! It was hard setting there waiting for the foam to do it's thing. But this is where I'm outa wack on my system...I'll fix it, don't worry. You won't see anymore pics of me like this...

Where did you get yours, I am seriously thinking about going down that road, just want to find a good deal and start foamin

I have one already, but I will make sure it will work with the foamer before embarking on all this. If not I will keep it mind in figure all the expenses. I have a Japanese steakhouse with 21 hoods I bid today and if I get the job, I will probably go ahead and make the move. I am sure I will have more questions for you once I cross over to the foamer side of the world. Thanks for the help.

Hey Trey...pm Alexy and definetly want to talk to Matt...Jason is also a foamer..those guys have more experience with it than I. And they are all great guys, don't be afraid to pick up the phone and ask them.....

Of course you can always ask me, I'm doing about 6 more jobs by Friday so I should be fairly familiar with the process by then....

Don't call Russ
A. His not a foamer..........
B.He'll talk for an hour.............
