600+ ft of hydraulic fluid spill

Just went and looked at the 2nd worse fluid spill in the panhandle's history which apparently happened this past March. I did a test spot with EBC, full strength, 30 min dwell, agitation, and 180 degree rinse. You might be able to tell where I conducted the test in photo#3. I did not use my...

    Request to observe roof cleaning

Hello all, I'm looking to accompany someone on a roof cleaning job or three. I really want to push this service but I lack experience and confidence so I haven't been aggressively marketing it. I work out of Navarre FL so I wouldn't expect someone in my immediate area (Pensacola to Destin) to...

    Pressure Pro's Clearly Pink Pro

Anyone try Pressure Pro's Clearly Pink Pro? I tried it today on brick mixed with 5 parts water to 1 part CPP and it worked great. Best of all it was only $17 per gallon. Now, I need to figure out how to mitigate the browning of grass. What are some techniques used? I've watered, watered, and...

    Deck cleaning advice

Need some advice on this. PM is asking me to clean the #2 unit of a 4 unit complex. The decking runs the entire length of the condo. I've got a couple of concerns: 1) I've never cleaned wood before so not sure what to use. 2) can this be done without effecting the decking on the #1 and #3...

    Insurance Dilimna

Hey guys, I purchased my GL policy through Joseph Walters. At the time they said they cap equipment coverage at $2K (not enough) to cover my set up. I thought I could get equipment coverage through another carrier. PROBLEM: no one in this area will cover my equipment without also providing...

    turbo nozzles

Hey guys, I never see any dialogue about turbo nozzles. Are there any acceptable applications in the "professional" realm. I used one on a brick mailbox and it worked beautifully. I made sure to keep it back from the surface and it took everything right off without damage. Thanks. James

    Marketing angle for rust removal--thoughts

Thinking about ways to get rust removal work. I'm thinking I should market the service extensively for Fall/Winter time. 1) Gets rid of past years irrigation stains and the won't show up again until next summer. (more time w/o the ugly) 2) Less concern with browning grass--still have plant...

    fall protection

Hey guys, I see some threads concerning fall protection but none seem to provide what I think is an obvious answer. Would it be simple to drive a 2 or 3 foot stake in the ground on the opposite side of the house to tie off. Or, tie off to stationary object? I would think HOs would like that...

    A little rust on brick

Been playing around with F9 to get rust off of brick. I've been looking for the optimum process. The mailbox took a couple of wet, spray, agitate, & rinse iterations. Does anyone use a different process? James

    Dirty Rusty House

These pics are represent my inspiration to get into this business. I see homes like this all over my area. It's a problem. Good businesses solve problems. This house is currently listing to rent for $2K a month. Question: Is a job like this likely to be "cost prohibitive" for the owner/PM...

    Mixing ratios

Hello all, Is there an AP or website or chart geared to determining mixing ratios to determine how much bleach, detergent, & brightener that I have to mix to get 1% SH on the house surface? I've got a 4 GPM PWer, 4K adjustable PSI, 5 gal bucket, 10% SH, can DS or use MTM foaming nozzle (trying...

    Newbie Question O' the Day

Why the 250/300 gal tanks when most are just carrying around a fraction of that volume at any one time? I see folks talk about only being able to carry 1000 lbs of SH(119 gals) without needing CDL or other HAZMAT quals. Isn't trailer space precious? Tanks everyone (pun intended). James Populis

    Tool to help educate
