120 volts will be readily available to you in a restaurant. If you will order a pump with viton components it will withstand most caustic chemicals. 2100-022 115 volt has viton components.
Thanks again Larry. I just wanted to make the right choice so I can clean Fleets/Hoods with it. Wasnt sure if one was more flexable than other. someone mentioned to get 12 Volt for fleet but need one to do both jobs.
A pump is a pump no matter what drives it. Ive been using my shurflo for 14 months. Acid, Ovenbrite, Prosoco, you name it. 12 volt, 120 volt does not matter. ITs what is in the pump.
When i used a pump, it was a 12Volt pump w/ a motorcycle battery. It would last quite a while before needing to be recharged. Of course cleaning hoods, it would not be operated more than 15 or 20 minutes on a job. You could also run wires to the pump from the auxilliary battery on your service truck.
