Grime Busters LLC

Been cruising the site for probably a year and just realized I've never introduced myself. I have also visited several other pressure washing forums and realize this site is the top shelf forum.
My name is Jim, and my wife and I started Grime Busters Pressure Washing, LLC several years ago. Been pressure washing for 30+ years, but not my primary occupation. My career for the past 33 years have been as a heavy equipment operator, 20+ years as a member of Operating Engineers, local 12 and the remainder non union. I've always taken pride in my work and the equipment I operated. I insisted that my equipment be maintained and kept clean. 99% of my past employers realized the importance of regular maintenance, but apparently were not as concerned with the appearance of the equipment.
So needless to say I've spent 100's of hours pressure washing the equipment I operate. Then started making some side $$$ pressure washing other operators and owner/operators equipment.
About 6 years ago I began sub contracting as a excavation contractor. Spent nearly $100,000 on my backhoe and kept it in brand new condition. I purchased my own rig after more and more pressure washing work started presenting itself, owner operators, truck fleets, etc. Still worked 50+ hours a week excavating. Then, the recession hit hard here in Arizona, and the lack of work doesn't make financial sense to continue the costs associated with the insurance, cost of operation, etc.
Long story short, I have now started down the path of making Grime Busters Pressure Washing, LLC a full time adventure. I have already secured several property management contracts, several General Contractors and a movie production company.
I want to that all the members of Pro Powerwash for the insight, direction and occasional humor that I have enjoyed just as a "visitor", checking in every now and then.
I look forward to the next Round table, meeting you all and someday being able to offer my experience to the new comers.
