How about this.... What is the difference between Pressure Washing and Power Washing?
This should bring up some good conversations.....
There is a difference between the words in the dictionary
Pressure: Pressure is defined as force per unit area. It is usually more convenient to use pressure rather than force to describe the influences upon fluid behavior. The amount of force applied upon an object. Pressure is a derived unit that combines force to area and mass per unit.
Power: The rate of doing work within a specified period of time.
Definition: Power is the time rate at which work is done. In calculus terms, power is the derivative of work with respect to time.
A common physics lab involves quickly climbing a flight of stairs and using mass, height and time information to determine a student's personal power.
Pressure would be under the students feet as he climbs the stairs.
So which one do you use?
Those are the definitions between Pressure and Power. Washing is the constant so the real difference is the terms between Power and Pressure.
