Guess the number of Years people have in Pressure washing?

Sooooo Tony - wanna show off your tootsies? If I recall, there were other shots that reveal more than toes :grin-devilish:

New to the PW game, name registered in 2003, started washing whenever needed for customers (among others...lawns , handyman, painter, light carpentry, snow removal & ice control (hence the name 810F250, 810 is the model of my plow and F250 was my first pickup, kept the name from plowsite/lawnsite and a lot more)),

....... started with PW decks, moved to concrete late 2007 and a few houses, hoping to jump off big time in 2010, concrete, buildings and some quick residential possibly houses and roofs (I want to work a couple days with each of the gurus).

Funny I have been reading on the web about pw technical data, pumps, and systems for about 3 1/2 years, I could have finished my first PW degree, lol,.........(dont take that to mean I know all the chit)

Its great being here at PWI, I have learned a great deal and meet even greater people.

Started in 1989 with $17,500 from a settlement from workers comp. Paid cash for a Delco 5300 SS on custom trailer with tanks. Blew the Briggs motor up in 40 hours, ( 2 , 20 hour days ) Delco back then, replaced the unit "Free of Charge" for a Delco D6300 with a Kubota D 700 3 cyl engine. Great machine, Great engine.

1st year I did 17k and some change. Basically I broke even. My first garage I did for 5k by myself and 2 friends. Took 4 days ( 15 to 20 hr days ) to complete. I thought I was rich. I have never lost money in the 20 years of business. Its 21 years in a few months.

Yes guys, back in the day, I pressure washed by myself in the freezing rain doing store fronts. Some have tried to mug me with a knife. I took jobs that paid low just to pay the bills. For years I could not afford any help, taking pain medications so that I can work, damaging my back and liver, kidneys even more. It was that or go on SDI.

Now, I supervise and drive the Beast. I find the jobs, write the contracts and meet with clients. I am trying to be more like Grant, but I still have years to go.

LOL LOL LOL
