Florida Networking Meeting & Educational Seminar July 30 & 31, Tampa 2010

I guess 2 rigs at the show are better than none.

The guys brought out some great rigs last year, Kory's rig, Greg's rig, Nick's rig and others that I don't remember the guys' names, sorry.

I am sure that this will be one of the best events of the year!

Who is coming from NC/SC and what days are you traveling? No interest in carpooling necessarily but caravanning (is that a word?) would be cool :)

I will be bring at least 2 maybe 3, and a ride on surface cleaner. I need to look at the hotel to find out about parking them and security, I'm not saying Tampa is a hot bed of theft, but it sure isn't Mayberry.

I am trying to get the a trailer that I built for a company that is off the hook, it is a 40 or 45 foot 5th wheel I think made by Great Dane or Labonty trailers, with 3 tandem axles, with 8 hotwater units 4 cold water units, 2 - 30 gpm wash down pumps, all kinds of reels that are placed all over the trailer, 4 - 535 gal tanks, and some other misc goodies it also has a 30k generator with an 8 head light tower, this trailer is crazy looking, I built it for a company that does oil field work, they sent it to South America, and now it is coming back here and will hopefully be in Florida around the end of July. I have heard that it is not in perfect condition any more but definitely worth seeing.

I am also trying to get Frank Hall to come, he has a cool all aluminum trailer, he has had it for at least 5 years and of course NO RUST. GIve him a call and harras him into coming. http://www.specialtypressurewashing.com/ 813-956-1742

Well I guess that you really did call him.....or know him. I think that he and appleman should be on the same side, fighting the same enemy.

He would be a perfect student for Tony's class.

I still think he should come. Maybe:grin-angelic: Mr. Apple Man :grin-angelic: will extend an olive branch to him? What do ya say? Do it for the bigger cause?

I remember some guy named frank from the old Delco board. It seems he's not the only one that feels that way. Chris has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way over the past 12 years I have been reading the boards. We all have different ways of setting up our equipment of mixing our cleaner/chems and that cool. We don't need to argue and call people names or insinuate they don't know what they are doing. Just my opinion.

I'll fly in to NC and drive with you. LOL

I'll carpool with you two, oh the stories we could have

Have fun everyone, man I 'm trying to find some way to sneak away, just busy and to late to get plane tickets. How many contractors so far, looks like a big list. Enjoy

So true...... I incorperate all the methods because I have had to due to different circomstances. I always tell people to try it and find the right fit for them. I guess that's why I am not an expert.

Well, that's news and a total shock to me Kory ? Frank pressure cleaned my Son's Driveway for money not so long ago. I saw him both at Lakeland, and talked to him personally last year when he was cleaning a wall in Bloomingdale. I went out of my way to stop, get out of my truck and say hi, show him our Pump system, and he showed us his. He just stopped and ate at Moe's in Brandon where our truck was right outside the main door, so he must have seen us ? I tried to say hi to him, but my employees were ready to go rinse the chlorine off of them. This is all news to me!

Highlander, I got to go rent that, haven't seen them in a while:thumbup2:

Joe, this is all news to me. I chose Frank to clean my sons driveway a few years back, saw him at Lakeland, and stopped to see him while he was cleaning a wall recently. I did a U Turn, got out of my truck to say hi, showed him my pump, he showed me his. I think we even talked about how his aluminum trailer he got built up in North Florida was holding up, and I think he mentioned something about welding needed to be done ?
He came to Lakeland, I was there, and I will be in Tampa. I am not "at war" with Frank as far as I am concerned, and if he is "at war" with, or mad at me, that is on him. I can not control the way someone feels about me. I will say this though, Being mad at somebody who is not mad at you is like pizzing in your own pants, the person most effected by it is you.

I wouldn't say that it is new news....but either way I just mentioned it would be cool to see him there...At war....not at war....it is not my war to fight anyway, I am not wrapped up in the Tampa version of the :triniti:Sopranos.:groucho:

And if you had him come out to do your boys driveway, I hope he knows that you did it give him work, not to rub anything in his face, cause that kind thing can get awfully misconstrued fast even though I know that you were just being a good guy and sharing the wealth....I hope he knows that as well.

And true true, you cant stop someone from feeling one way or another, and it is self defeating. But I would just like to see ya call him and let him know, its all good no hassles, just come by to hang out for a few. He and I can sit around and watch everyone else drink..:rotflmao:

I called him a few weeks ago, we chatted for a while and he seemed all good, I don't even think that he mentioned yours or anyones else name. I told him I would be speaking an that was pretty much it.

It still seems to me that all you Tampa guys, need to get on the same page, cause you all have the same complaints and problems, I would not say you need to go as far as to become a syndicate and price fix and pressure others but set a standard that you can all live by. There are alot of buildings in your area to clean, roofs or otherwise. I come 90 miles from the south to clean in Tampa/St. Pete/Brandon a few times a month, so there must be enough work for everyone if they will drag us up there ya know. The same thing goes for Orlando, while we hear alot less out of that part of the woods, we go there as well to clean, so I would think that there is a 0.0% shortage of work. Just a lack of communication.

Well thats all that need to be said about this I suppose, I am going over to another thread on this board and watch, I think that they are going to have a gun fight at high noon.:rotflmao1:

Joe, would it be possible to email me pictures of your riding surface cleaner? I am in South Texas, way out of your market so no direct competition. I am very curious.

I understand if you don't want to post pictures here, that is ok.

I saw the pictures of your gooseneck trailer, that thing is great!

Do you ever run 2 of the vacuum surface cleaners, if so, how far from the trailer can they go with both of them running at the same time?
100'? 300'?

Thanks.
