I love the Marines. Thx for your service to our country.
I have websites and telephone ads, newspaper, and even a local cable commercial, and Service Magic, fliers, the works.
I have never abandoned the most primitive form of marketing. It always works for me
(even though a little time passes).
"The 3 foot rule ".
Anyone that is within 3 ft. of me at (just about) anyplace recieves a business card from me. Grocery store, post office, gas station, ( I think you get my point). It sounds like you are doing what needs to be done to get your company name out there. Sometimes, it just takes time to get the business.
BUT, always have those biz cards ready to hand out TO ANYONE WHO WILL TAKE ONE.
When you are on a jobsite ( if residential) when you are finished or if you have a helper.
Put biz cards on (NOT INSIDE) mailboxes along the street that your job is on. That really helps in getting more biz in that area.
There are many variables as to why you may not be getting the business.
Family vacation season is in full swing. Schools out and people are busy with their kids, economy, recession, our country's leaders push fear to the masses, finances. Whatever the reason, ..... KEEP PLUGGING away at those sales.
I refuse to believe the talk coming from one of our country's finest to "hit rock bottom".
It is just a lull that you and many others always go through at some point in their career.
IT WILL PICK UP IF YOU KEEP PLUGGING.
If you are at a standstill now, it can only go up from here....... right?
Best of luck.
