Uneven Cleaning - Surface Cleaner

The uneven cleaning pattern on our surface cleaner is a constant problem. Besides changing tips or adjusting the angle what fixes are there?
At one time I had a card that you could set next to the tip and set your angle but have misplaced it, is something like this available. One rig is 3000 @ 7.7, the other is 3000 @ 5. Thanks.

Call A Vendor here, your local Vendor or Steel Eagle, they can send you a new card for the angle.

They also have new spray bars where the angle is welded in place so no more need for the angle card.

Get more bars - 3 for the 5 gal, 4 for the 7.7. Use soap. I think the spray angle is the absolute most important factor because it controls the speed it spins. I wouldn't worry about the 'factory angle' just find the speed that works, sounds like faster would be better. I like wide tips. .02

Ron, are you going to elaborate on this?

Bump. Did a large job today and had this problem. 3 to1 SH mix 2300 psi 8gpm 18" sc with 3 gpm 25deg tips. Tested larger and smaller tips, slower speed less water, and so on. Any help. Did see this on another job when wet, when dry unable to see any stripes . Will post pics as soon as can, going back in am to see it dry. Any help.

This works fir us. On light striping, we mist the concrete acfter rinsing with sh @ 1 to 1 ratio from a pump sprayer or electric pump. On haevy striping, after rinsing we run the surface cleaner in the opposite direction that we cleaned it. You can walk faster with this step. Then we mist it with 1 to 1 sh. So far we haven't had to do anything else to fix the situation.

Went back looked fine for the person not knowing, just not to my standards. SH for me is cheep so I can do pre and post treatment. This is my daughters pre school so it was done for free as it needed it. Not sure of these sq foot but 2 car drive way and a 16 car parking lot. Big for me. Will test more on other driveways in the next few days. Thanks again. Wow it workedimage.jpg

Pics will not up load so I will try post treatment. Seams like when it gets hot the concrete sucks back the dirt even with constant rinsing. Will try the post treatment thanks .

I've noticed that too. I do sections at a time and rinse ASAP. If you wait too long to rinse the dirt does appear settle back and stick. If it is still dirty, post treat and wait a minute and just go over it again fast. You will see the dirt running down.

Ralph, how hot is your second treatment mix?

Do you ever do a treatment after cleaning to achieve additional brightness and if so how hot?

Wow I just typed out a post and it disappeared.
I post treat everything now. Straight SH through a high draw injector. Claims 20% but don't know.
