I need Critics...

My Power Washing Contractor site I developed myself. Be nice Y'all.

Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. I am going to post this on a few sites as I know most are in Tampa, so maybe i will get a skeleton crew response in the least :>)

Pretty nice and very informative. If I had to change anything it would be to put your service links (the things that you do) in an order that is easier to look at. It just looks busy.... not layed out well. Maybe block around them or stagger them in a way that they line up better. Other than that I like it.

I agree informative with good content. Needs some tweaking. I also agree the links at the top aren't readily seen as links, just look like text. I know I'm in the minority here but I despise music in a company web page. I think it's a perfect place to tell them what you do. If I go to a link and music auto starts up I back out. Just me I guess.

I would also put your contact info, phone and email link on the same place on every page. So when they finally think, "this is the company" they can make the contact without searching for it. I'm guessing all the towns are for SEO. I'd make them as small as possible and get them at the bottom.

If this is your first shot at it you did well.

boooooooooooooooo!

Looks good.....call if you still need .... pics

I'm with Rick.. if that's your first website, GREAT JOB!!!

I'm a little different than everybody else, but I say don't give your visitors a chance to skip and wander around your website. It's a selling tool, lead them where you want them to go - ultimately a phone call, quote, etc...

I think of it like a sales presentation. A good salesman would NEVER just give a flip chart to the customer and have them flip through it. Why do that with a webpage? Makes no sense in my opinion.

Also, you have no lead generating mechanism. You want to be able to capture the name and email (at least the email) of everyone that is checking out your site so you can market to them over and over; FOR FREE!!!

I'm also with Rick about the music. I hated that song when Ronnie Millsap did it, and still hate it today. Get rid of that.

Well, that's my thoughts, good luck and I hope it makes you lots of money ;)

lol O.K I guess a more generic instrumental would be better. My Wife did not like it either. I guess I was just reliving my single digit years then :>)

Where can I go to get a hold of all the goodies y'all have been refering me to do like being able to capture someones email? also, how about SEO? I plan on going to take some college courses on these things for my own benefit, so I will be my in house web/seo guy, but tilo then I am at a loss.

Yes, Joe. I still need some pics. As you saw some of the pics were fuzzy because they are cell phone photos. Got a digi coming so it will be better from here on. Whens a good time to call?

Thanks

If it is Ronnie Milsap, it is a poor choice for a "see the difference" my cleaning company makes.
Isn't Ronnie Milsap blind ?

lol I never thought of that, but I do think sometimes a blind roof washer would do better than some of the jokers trying to do it in my area.

Sadly someday we will hear of a roof cleaner going blind.

If he got married maybe that would not be the case....hmmmmm :yikes:

Updated my site some. Now how does it look?

I updated the mayout to put the links to the left side for better order. I also changed some content on home, roof and power washing pages. I did some re arranging on it also. I got the music changed, but the auto start is not allowing me to click off on that option as of yet. I got all the service areas off of each page and put into its own with a zip next to it on the service area page.

I am going to get with the aweber thing, but just trying to get everything nailed down a bit more first.

Thanks in advance.
