if i am p.w in a area with no storm drains or streams with simply green. whats t he epas policy on waste water. by the way its a house in central ny. thanks

Thats a great question, simple green is not green. Thats just the name, there are a few chemical dealers that are here on PWI who can help you find something safe.

Believe that's just a butyl based cleaner.

Reminds me of the time I went to a military base and watched two soldiers degrease a tank engine over a storm drain with that stuff. I asked them what they thought they were doing and they said their commander told them to use an environmental product for the job.

Got some blank stares when I asked them what they thought was happening to all the oil and grease they were washing off.
