I had a great conversation with Eric last nite.

Everything is going smoothly and just about done.

No need to get more chef's in the kitchen if you know what I mean as it is almost finished.

This will be something that is workable for contractors, things that are common sense and ways to do things that will keep the city and contractor out of trouble as long as the contractor follows simple guidelines and not a huge mess like the circus in Houston.

Eric will let us know when it is done but if he needs help he knows that we will help him and he knows who to call. Another big thanks out to Ron M.

I talked with both Eric and Guy Blackmon tonight... Eric is an excellent person to handle this and if he needs anything where here to support him.

Hey everyone, this is the first time I have posted something on this site, but I have been sitting back and reading the forums from front to back so I have an idea who the players are in this industry. My name is David M and my father and I own a pressure washing company in the sugarland area which is right outside the houston area. Needless to say we have quite a few accounts inside the Houston area. My father got into this business nearly 15 years ago by accident working out of his truck. I ended up jumping on board about 11 years ago so we could grow this business together. In the 11 years that I have been doing this the last 3 to 4 years have been rough mainly because of the pressures from the city of houston. We have come a long way from working out of our truck, to a half ass trailer set up, to a fully functional reclaimation set up. All because we got in the same boat as Doug Rucker. We have had to deal with Seargent Walsh twice and since have had to pay fines, pay lawers, and do work for the county in downtown houston (imo extortion) just to pay down the fines. We are still in the process of taking care of our "punishment" since we are such bad people for doing what we do. I could go on and on but I would just sound like a bitter young man especially when like Ron said the city breaks the law everyday. This post is really not to tell my story, even though it sounds like it, but to thank all that have worked so hard to change our industry for the better. I have never had a criminal record but after this thread of information at least I dont feel like one anymore. So once again to all that are working to change things here in houston, I THANK YOU VERY MUCH, it is keeping this little family run business in business. I have never been a really outspoken person but the older I am getting and the way I see politics work if I dont speak up with the rest of you, we will not make it. I dont have much to offer but if anyone needs an extra voice ill do what I can.

    Thanks
    David

David, Man all I can say is I'm sorry that you live in a place that views Pressure Washing Contractors as criminals, potential criminals, major polluters of the environment and treats them as such. I have watched in utter amazement 2 of the DVD's from the Houston meeting, unbelievable!!!!

Law Enforcement Officers (With Guns) talking to (And Down To) Pressure Washers as though they were scum of the earth. Mean while murder, rape, robbery, drug dealing, etc. continues to rise in that area.

    In-Freaking-Credable!!!
