Hey guys, I JUST got this in my email from Keith at KBK Graphics.:thumbup2: I was wondering what you guys thought since this is my first "true" logo. I love it, but want to make sure that's just not the excitement of having my own logo.:yeah:

Hello Cookeville, Yeah that is a pretty solid logo. The company that developed it seems to have a knack for cleaning companies profiles.

Something I would change(if it were mine though) is take the roof off of the letters(it makes it way too blocky.)
Or if you want to keep the roof, take out the grass and move the roof under the letters and do some structural changes to the roof(so it would better fit underneath the context)

Overall I like it, but the left side has such an open free form feel. And the right side is very serious and closed off.

Thanks for the input! I want to keep the grass because I do lawn care also and I'd like to keep the roof because I clean roofs as well. I wanted to convey both the mowing and the cleaning side of the business and I think that added some challenges to it. I'll keep in mind what you said about the "blocky" feel though.

It is a nice logo, but I am curious, what does Tennessee have to do with Moose Tracks?

It appears like almost everyone has the words - pressure washing or power washing as part of their name. It is not part of your name and not part of Scott's company name. I know Scott is very successful, but do you think it would help if you had your services incorporated into your company name. Something such as Moose Tracks Pressure Washing & Lawn Care or Moose Tracks Power Washing and Property Maintenance.

It might help with your internet search results. Just a thought.

Mark- Thanks for your input. I usually rank #1 in my area already. The logo was ment to display some of my services. I like to think of it as another tool....something to add to my advertisements to show I'm legit. I feel that changing it to ...Pressure Washing and Lawn Care kind of limits my growth in the future if I choose to branch out in windows, snow removal, etc. Thanks for the concern though!

Scott- On my website, I have an explanation of why I chose my business name. It has nothing to do with TN. I'm a career firefighter and moose is my nickname at work. Heck, I think some of the rookies don't even know my real name. Lol The "tracks" are the quality results I leave behind. I've gotten a really good response in my area.

That makes sense. Thanks for explaining to me.
There is one advantage to having a company name tied closely to your service. For me, it is nice to be able to see other opportunities and be able to pursue them, without being known as the pressure washing guy.

That's exactly why I left it as Property Services. I'd like to eventually do windows also, and who knows what else I'll get into. lol
