Hello,
I was hoping may be you guys could help me. I am operating in the East TX. area. I have ? about bidding on new car dealerships . How much a unit or a car? They want it done every 2 weeks just to keep the cars from getting too dusty. The job would reqiure at least 2 men and no chemicals.i am still new to the bussiness and any help would be most appreciated. they have about 250-300 trucks and cars. And are interested in a possible contract, so i want to do it the best i can. thankyou.

do you have de-ionised water?
What is the cost of de-ionised water or the maint cost's you need to supply yourself with do-ionised water?
Larry has written a good artical on this at
www.pressurewash.com under library [click on BOARDS]
It is well worth the reading.

$2.00/car. Around here, the avg. is about $1.60-$1.75/car, but some places will go for $2.00 a car.

A couple things...

De-ionised water is not required..
Get 5 cu. ft. (or bigger if you prefer) Water Sprite Brand Chamois
Low pressure with a 25 degree tip..

Also, a 3 person crew works best. 1 sprayer and 2 wipers.
a 2 man crew is fine, but a lot more work

If you need any more info email me mattnpki@hotmail.com

The de-ionised water isn't required, however it will help the job go much quicker and alow you to wash more cars is a lot less time. The set up we had was, de-ionised water, 2 sprayers, and 1 wiper. Seeing as how the water didn't spot, the wiper only had to glance over the cars to ensure that there wee no dirt spots left and was eaisly able to keep up with 2 sprayers.
