Is anyone out there really doing anything with their business facebook page? Has it gotten you any direct business? I have one, but wondering if it is worth the time to really put the time into posting pics, videos, and all that stuff. Most all of my friends have them for their business and say it is just another thing to worry about that really does not bring in more revenue.
If you do find it beneficial could you let me take a look at it and get some ideas. I swear I won't directly copy. Just wanted to get others opinions.
 
I think the biggest and hardest thing about social media: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc is getting a real following that actually cares about what you are doing. Getting friends and family is a great way to start but going beyond that becomes tricky. It's kind of like the saying - if a tree falls and nobody is there to hear it...does it make any noise? <--probably not exactly the saying but you get the point :)

I have gotten a job or two off FB but nothing major. My listing comes up on the first page of Google usually somewhere between 5-10 spot for the keywords I target.
I hope to get more customers involved in the future somehow.
