Sealer for wood same for stone?

Calling All you pro wood guys!

I have a friend who needs to know if they can seal the stone

part of the patio next to the wood part.

Thanks for any input you can share because I haven't seen this

asked before.

Sure you can, with a sealant that is meant for stone!

There are catch all sealers that claim they can be used on both wood and masonary, however, they are usually very poor wood sealers that offer no protection from the sun.

In other words......use two different products here......
