I'm all in with Uamcc but I have noticed that A LOT of drama surround's the uamcc. I understand what is trying to be done but at the same time it is causing a negative impact to the image of the org. I'm proud to be a member so please don't take this as me being negative towards the org but instead take this as a general concern.
DeJay, Whenever some good is trying to be done in our Industry suspicions, conspiracy theorist, and negativity are sure to follow. It's Ford vs. Chevy, Cowboys vs Redskins, etc., etc, etc,
Opinions are like A-Holes....every bodies got one. The controversy has nothing to do with the UAMCC but about 2 or 3 board Members, it's a personal vendetta against these Men and nothing more. These people are scared of the vision, where & what the UAMCC is going to be. This thinking and attitude is what has kept our Industry down in the perception of the Public.
I've been a Member for 3 years now. I would like to say it's been a wonderful experience but it hasn't, and that's not a slight. Because of the youth of this Org. it's going through growing pains. Leadership is the reason that we're not where we should be in our goals, but good news that's changed.
The Men that are in that role now are a dedicated, hard working, passionate group that want to see not only our Industry thrive, but it's Members also. I am proud to say that I am a part of this group & honored to work with them.
A successful anything is not built in a year, 2 years, 3 years etc.. It takes time, commitment & Leadership (Just Like Our Businesses) to be truly successful, and we are heading in the right direction.
I am convinced more than ever that the success of the UAMCC is not "Probable" but "Inevitable" and happening right now because of Members like you, Nick & many others.
We're not in a "Race" to build the UAMCC, we're on a "Journey" to build a successful Industry Org.....And we ask all that will....To Join Us On That Journey.
I Have Always Been Proud To Be A Member.
