My New Snake Catcher

Had a bottle of sodium hydroxide laying sideways on the garage floor under some other tools. Lid was taped on and a small snake must have ventured into my garage and crawled between lid and tape and got stuck on the tape. I was a little surprised when organizing my garage this afternoon.

i kind of wished it would've but him but my first step dad picked up a metal pipe between his legs with one endstill on the ground when a snake shot out the end of it that was in his hands. id tell you how or dog caught it in mid air buy id probably devious a reputation for tall tales lol

Still in skin but had been dead a few week so he was a little crispy and thin. I dropped the bottle when I first saw the snake attached.
 
I killed a black snake in my grandpa's barn when I was 15. Man was I proud! Showed it to him and he tanned my hide. He said black snakes are a friend to the farmer and told me why. I killed another one in the barn 2 days later but never told him about that one. LOL I hate snakes!
 
I have killed a lot of snakes growing up here in Texas, most of the time with shovels, axe handles, pipes, anything I can use becomes a tool to get rid of the rattlers and other bad snakes.
