Whats you cost per house wash

Avg house and driveway.... using 2 fivers
6-8 gallons of SH $16.00
10 ounces Elemonator $ 1.80
Unit Fuel $9.00
Water $FREEBIE

if you have a helper add his total cost for an hour.

figure your MPG if you really want to get to the penny. Just make sure if you are that anal that you take into account how much laundry detergent you use to wash yourwork clothes and how much shower water and body wash you use. ( electricity for your alarm clock too )

A simple method would be to just measure and log everything you consider part of the job (consumables, labor, equipment replacement parts, equipment service and so on). Do this a dozen times and average it all out. You'll have a very close number. IF you find yourself not replacing, repairing or servicing your equipment, you may need to wait until you have before averaging.

Me, I just guesstimate my costs and bid the job on standard rates for a professional.

Workers comp is based on payroll.

Payroll is a percentage of revenue.

So a $500.00 house wash has a very easily defined overhead burden.

Overhead in my case has some of each of the following;

Insurance, depreciation, license, taxes, clothing, phones, website, association fees, software, credit card fees, bank fees, legal fees, travel and maintenance.

That is for my budget purposes. My wife, the accountant, messes up, or perhaps "changes up", all of the categories when she does her thing.

This may be in the wrong area but I wanted to know if any of you have or know what you cost per house is. I do understand it will very from size house. For example for a one story 2000 square foot house. Your Labor, Chemicals, Wear/Tear, Fuel, vehicle, marketing.

why not compare your prices today as if you did them 3 years ago and adjust them from there?

I would usually use more than 1 or 2 gallons on a 2k square foot home, if I were to guess, between 4-6, sometimes I may be able to get away with a couple gallons if it's a brick house and they're just looking to get eves washed.
Is this bc I'm in such a humid area?

A house wash in Arizona is VERY simplistic! Absolutely no humidity. You just wash off dirt and bird waste. I just rinse with an Xjet cold water. No chemicals needed like 85% of the time.

2000 sq ft home will take about an hour and that is mainly from moving the hose around with all the rocks in the way!

I really doubt I have more than $50 in expenses excluding wear and tear.

I cant go back three years. I started last March. This is my first full year at this. I wish we just washed dirt off. We have a humid environment. A Lot of mold and mildew

I love mold and algae.........the more the better.......the more humid the better for business......... the faster if grows the more the phone rings
You clean it off and it just grows back..........gotta love it
