In need of a long lance

Russ, I'm in need of a long lance. I'm thinking ten feet.
Would a ten foot lance be controllable at 8g.p.m. ?
I have seen the freight saver lances are those worth a crap? What would be my best option?
Need something shipped tomorrow if possible.
What ever you can get to me quick just send it and call me for payment.

I use long lances a lot. I have two together for 16 ft.

It is very difficult to control 6gpm at ten ft.

You really need a ball valve to ease it on or it might kick your butt.

Are you needing it for high pressure or low pressure? If low pressure you could go with aluminum so you don't wear arms out. If high pressure I feel sorry for you @ 8 gpm's because of the pressure and weight of the lance at 10' long.

High pressure. This is why. On the top of this building there is a net to keep swallows from building nest up under the eaves. This building needs to be cleaned very well. Food quality cleaning. Lots of bird shit up there.

With my 8 GPM I could hit it with a short extension wand and a 0040 tip. I have 2 - 4 or 5 foot extension wands you could hook together Chris if you're in a pinch. Call me in the morning if you want.

Thanks Vince. I'm sure I could reach it as well down streaming. I'm going to have too get up close and actually pressure wash this one. Lots of old bird crap up high. It's going to be inspected before a food processing company can move in.

I think you will have trouble controlling the extension wand at 10 gpm. Since down streaming is not enough pressure see if you can reduce the pressure down to about 1000 psi by using a larger tip. Maybe the wand will be controllable at 1000 psi and still give you enough pressure to do the job.
