The $200k Barrier

What does a CPA do?

I always wanted to be a CPA. Trouble is/was, damn it, I just don't have enough personality for the job! Debits on the left and credits on the right and zzzzzzz.

We did $130K in April! But haven't cleaned more than 2 roofs... haha

I would never post my tax return but you can get a screen shot of my company company snap shot in QB. We are up every month from 2013!! Shooting for $1.5M

Great numbers Ty!

I will be the first to say , hell no I have never grossed $200K
I don't want, money is not my reward in this profession. Time is.
Net is a differant story than gross.
I am not trying to be a jerk but if you want other companies to show tax returns, please show yours first!

Reason why I said tax return is because I was getting at REAL numbers not what I did on my best week multiplied by 52 weeks. Mike your in St Augustine, you know what we did at Mallard and Terra :) I just want us to see if we are hitting our goals, not just BSing around. I dont think growing a business should be based on fluff.

none of what your speak of defines success. 200K or 2 mil. gross or net?.It's what you as a business owner consider your bottom line (net profits, assets, etc)

I know contractors grossing 4 mill plus who are scrambling to make payroll and on the other end solo guys grossing way less than your 200k barometer profitable

very subjective

No Mike I am looking purely at production. Are we getting all we can from the resources in our garage. I just see many working all year busting a gut to put 150k on the board and the possibility with a bit of tweaking can be in excess of 300k.

What I speak of defines success if being successful is defined by hitting your goals.

AC, as you can probably see this thread has not been particularly well received. Why is that? To be honest, in my opinion it's because about the only time you post on these boards is when it has something to do with your own self promotion.

If the majority of the other members on PWI think I'm wrong on this, I'll hand over my SS and DL numbers. Bet I get to keep 'em. Guys, what do you think?

I think a less intrusive and more accurate picture of one's success would be a full sized scan of the largest bass we have ever caught.

All of us could share in that equally. Unless there are any pro fishermen among us.
