I got a call to do a drive-thru and walkway cleaning for a fast food restaurant. I don't usually do commercial, so I want to know what I can expect using my cold water machine and EBC? Anythng I should look out for?CAM00259.jpgCAM00263.jpgCAM00262.jpg

Here are some pics to give you an idea.

Hot water is ideal.

Here are two vids relating to what you are dealing with.

1. loading areas that have food grease on them

2. Drivethrus with petroleum based stains.

Vids were done by 2 different contractors using cold water. I can help you with ratios on this should you decide to go in that direction.

Can't see the pics too good, they are sideways.

You need hot water to pop the gum, you don't want to be called half-assed do you for doing a half-assed job by not cleaning the gum ?

Rent a hot water machine, sub it out or buy a hot water machine so you can pop the gum so you do a professional job.

Got it. I need to look into this product a little more...

Can I call you? I have a question or two.

It would be my pleasure.

Heading out the door to wash now you can try to catch me tonight.

OR

I will be around the office tomorrow around 10'ish. Anytime after that is good also...

First video is on sealed concrete. Hell, purple power and cold water will give you the same results. EBC is great but please don't think EBC puts your cleaning efficiency on the same level as a hot water machine. From what I see from pics in original post, cold water is going to make for long night with sub par results..

We think so! Thanks for the comment!!!

Cold water and oil.....not a good combination and yes....very difficult to clean.

In a pinch...there are options out there and that was the purpose of me posting the vids and nothing more.

I say you sub it to a contractor with hot water unit. That is going to be rough with cold water.

Plus 1000.

EBC needs hot water for grease. I think these vids are of properties regularly cleaned on a maintenance schedule. So in a pinch the cold water may have mustered through it.

Carlos is good people selling a product that contractors like and have had success with. He has terrific customer service. But he doesn't sell Magic in a bottle. Some situations may clean with ebC and cold water..... But oft this neglected nasty drive through you will need heat!

Spot one!

I posted this video for the purpose of letting you know that there are soaps out there that will clean...even in cold water BUT in order to do the job right you really need to throw heat to the equation. I wash alot of gas stations every month and I am throwing heat on every inch of concrete because time is money for my business. The purpose of the gas station video was because many contractors just wanted to know whether or not EBC will clean with cold water. The video speaks for itself. That station is not under maintenance and according to the owner was not cleaned over a year before he asked us to hit it.

My goal and others here are to suggest or recommend the best course....sometimes that is telling the contractor that it might be a good idea to "pass" on the job or find someone with HEAT. We have a great product and I can attest that we have passed muster on several fronts with the industry since our launch. However, as I tell every contractor that ask me.....it is not a miracle soap. It has it's limitations as any other soap does.
