Bleached house.

Ok so I have been having issues with this house I stripped. Every square inch is furred up. So that means 60 grit everywhere I can see. Well I was talking to the builder and he told me the house sat for two years with no stain and then when it was time to sell it they bleached it real good and then stained it. Now I know why it is do furred. I can just imagine how much bleach they used and how little they rinsed it. Argggghh.

I have to use taptalk . This site has some seriously wacky issues. I have tried using it on all the search engines.

If you click on the A/A box at the start of the toolbar it generally stops the stupid shit that happens when you are trying to type. It's getting a bit boring that the site continues to be this way. I may get fixed one day. I use Internet Explorer FYI. Don't think it's that at all.

this time i entered PWI from your site propowerwash I wonder if that had anything to do with it.I am going to type for a minute here and see i anything starts to screw up but it seems to be good so far. I will use safari when i go to Pwi. cause everyone knows they need their daily dose of pressure wash institute.

Wouldn't the furring issues have been caught with a good initial examination of the whole house when looking at it to bid the job? In the past when I looked at wood decks and other wood restoration jobs a lot of times there was a lot of evidence of excessive bleaching happening to "just make it look better and to get rid of the black stuff" done by homeowners. They did not rinse good or do other steps to protect the wood, they just bleached it and nothing else.

What were the tell tale signs?
